LOCK MANDRELS
BPR Lock Mandrel
Used to selectively locate and lock into type “R” landing nipples.
The “BPR” type lock mandrels utilize various equalizing assemblies depending on the desired application.
Type “BPR” lock mandrels are typically used in applications where the pressure does not exceed 10,000 psi, or 70 MpA.
Applications:
Used with various equalizing assemblies to blank off pressure of production tubing.
Used to deploy check valves, standing valves, or velocity strings to the tubing string.
Used to deploy safety valves into the tubing string.
Used to deploy or hang bottom hole instruments in the wellbore.
