FISHING TOOLS

Sheeps Foot Cutter Bar

To cut wire from stuck toolstrings.

The sheep’s foot cutter bar is similar to that of a section of the stem without the threaded connections.

On the upper end of the sheep’s foot cutter bar is a fishing neck profile, with the bottom face being cut at an angle.

A narrow slot is cut the length of the body, and a retaining bar the size of the slot is held in place with a series of spring pins through both the outer edge and bar.

The thickness of the retainer bar is narrow to allow the line to move freely behind it.

Sheep’s foot cutters generally come in three and five foot lengths.

The body O.D. measurements are affected by the tubing size, threaded guides may be utilized.
