The BO Selective shifting tool is used to locate and either open or close a typical Halliburton style XA / XO sliding side door when there are multiple sliding sleeves in a production string.

The BO type selective shifting tool can open or close a desired sliding side door by simply deploying the tool with the in the selective position, this will allow for the shifting tool to pass through the shifting mechanism of any sleeves up hole, when the desired sleeve is reached the shifting tool is manipulated to the non-selective position and the sleeve can be shifted to either the opened or closed position depending on the type of sliding side door.

Applications:

Used to open or close sliding side doors that correspond to the size of the B shifting tool when there are multiple sliding side doors in the wellbore.
