Wax knives are used to remove paraffin wax from the wellbores of oil producing wells.

Applications:

Wax knives are uses to cut paraffin wax from the inside of the tubing wall oil producing wells so as to maintain production.

Wax knives can also be used to retrieve debris such as packer rubber, other debris from wellbores by tangling the debris up in the wires of the wax knife and retrieving the tools to surface.
