Tubing Broach – Diamond
Diamond Broaches are used to remove or broach tight spots in tubing strings using hardened cutting teeth to cut or shear materials from the tubing wall.
Broaches can be manufactured in many configurations and sizes to meet specific wellbore conditions.
Applications:
Diamond broaches use diamond shaped teeth to remove scale, debris, or deformations from the inside of the tubing string.
Diamond broaches can be disassembled and have the cutting sleeves changed should the teeth become damaged during operation.
Pineapple broaches can be used to repair tight collars, or deformations on the inside of the tubing string in preparation for equipment such as plunger lift systems, or logging operations.
