Profile Sub – Rotary Connection
Used in down hole operations where there is a need for well control while using heavy weight or drill collars, or where there is a need for circulation such as fishing or milling operations.
The profiles may be utilized to install blanking plugs, or back pressure valves.
Applications:
Wireline retrievable floats can be attached to lock mandrels and installed at surface or downhole with slickline in Managed Pressure Drilling Operations, as well as Underbalanced Drilling.
The profile subs can also have non return valves installed at surface, or downhole with slickline during milling or fishing operations when well control is required.
Profile subs can also be ran in the drill string to allow for well control should the bottom hole floats fail, or wash.
Rotary profile subs are available in a wide range of materials, thread configurations, and profile sizes to meet the individual needs of any given project.
*If used for wireline retrievable floats, the equalizing and bleed sub assembly may be required to bleed pressures off at surface.
*Smaller or larger sizes available upon request, as well as custom materials, and a wide range of thread specs.
