Paddle type broaches are used to remove or broach tight spots in tubing strings using hardened cutting teeth to cut or shear materials from the tubing wall.

Applications:

Paddle broaches use rows of teeth to remove scale, debris, or deformations from the inside of the tubing string.

Paddle type broaches can be used to remove scale, asphaultines, sulfur build ups, 

or deformations on the inside of the tubing string.

Broaches are typically ran in preparation for equipment such as plunger lift systems, or logging operations.
