Threaded No-Go Dart – Fluted
Fluted no-go darts are typically landed in a profile nipple of corresponding size, either on the seal bore in the case of a selective nipple, or on the no-go of a non selective nipple, these typically serve as a platform for sub-surface tools or instruments to be landed on.
Fluted no-go darts have the option of having a thread installed on the bottom to allow the no-go dart to be used in a variety of configurations.
Applications:
Can be used as a platform for sub-surface tools.
Can be used as a method to prevent tools or equipment from travelling past a particular point in the wellbore.
Fluted no-go darts may also be used as solid fluted centralizers during slickline or wireline operations.
