Tube jars are mechanical jars similar to a slide hammer, there is a shaft that travels inside a tube.
Tube jars can be used in place of mechanical link jars.
Tube jars typically function better in gas condition rather than fluid due to bypass restrictions.
Applications:
Tube jars can be used in situations where tools string length is restricted.
