Mechanical Dump Bailer
The Mechanical dump bailer is utilized when there is a need to deploy chemicals or acids into the wellbore.
The mechanical dump bailer is able to deploy chemical, cement, or acids by mechanically a metal disk in the bottom of the tool, allowing the contents to drain.
Applications:
The mechanical dump bailer can be used to deploy acid onto or into downhole equipment that has become jammed or unusable by scale or other debris.
The mechanical dump bailer can be used to spot methanol in areas where hydrates may be causing operational problems.
The mechanical dump bailer can also be used to deploy and other type of viscous liquid into the wellbore.
