Wire brushes are used to clean the wellbore or related sub surface equipment of unwanted build up, scale ,or other debris that has formed in the wellbore.
The extended wire brush can be used to clean larger, longer sections of the wellbore at once.

Applications:

Wire brushes can but used to clean the wellbore of sand or other debris that may be deposited over time from production, or introduced during the fracturing process.

Wire brushes can also be used to clean the seal bores of profile, or landing nipples prior the installation of blanking plugs, check valves, or other downhole equipment.

Wire brushed can also be used to clean the latching mechanisms in equipment such as sliding side doors, or locating latches of side pocket mandrels.
