GG Positive Overshot
The GG positive overshot is an overshot that is utilized when there is a need to retrieve downhole equipment that has damage or deformation to the fishneck, making conventional pulling tools un-usable.
The GG positive has a full 360 degree engagement allowing for even the most damaged fishnecks to be engaged.
The GG positive overshot is non releasble, a bait sub or fishing socket is advised to be run in conjunction with these tools.
Applications:
The GG overshot may be used during fishing operations when there may be wire or other debris on top of the fish, this may be swallowed by the GG and allow for engagement of the fishneck.
The GG fingered overshot may also be used when there may be corrosion, deformation, or other debris on top of the fish, making conventional tools unusable.
