Swab mandrel are used in conjunction with swab cups to pull or swab fluid of  the wellbore.

Swab Mandrel typically come with no-go bottoms so as not to pass through, or out the 

bottom of the tubing string.

Applications:

Swab mandrels are used to unload , or swab in wellbores that have reduced or stopped flowing on it’s

own accord due to heavy fluid.

Swab mandrels are also used to recover fluid used during the completion or fracturing process.
